How much per hour do cleaning services cost?

Cleaning services are priced by the job, not by the hour.  A customer service representative will provide you with a price for the job that you want to have done.

What if I want some extra room's cleaned or extra work done on my next visit?

You need to call the main office at (919) 834-8215 to request the extra work.  Sometimes the type of extra work you want requires a team other than your regular team and we need to schedule the right technicians to handle your request.

Are you insured?

We are fully licensed, insured and bonded.

What are your office hours?

Our offices hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30am - 5:30pm EST and Saturday 10:00am - 2:00pm EST.

Do you guarantee your work?

Yes, we absolutely do.

Do you come to my home for an estimate?

Yes, we provide a free no obligation in home estimate.

Do I have to be home when the cleaners are there?

No, entry to the home will be handled with you prior to cleaning day.

Do I give you my key?

If you would like, over 95% of our clients put trust in us with their keys.

Do I supply the cleaning supplies and vacuum cleaner?

We supply everything necessary, to complete the job.  If you would like us to use something different just leave it out for us.

Do I have to sign a contract?

No, our professionally trained staff works hard to keep your business.  Please note that we require a 24 hr. notice for cancellations to avoid a $35.00 service charge.

Do I have to lock up my pets?

No, we love pets.

Do you bill us?

Payment is due on the day of service.

POLICIES

Our Commitment

We have set very high standards for cleaning your home and have taken steps to make sure quality is never overlooked.We complete a comprehensive 22 Point Quality Control Checklist after each cleaning to ensure that we meet our own high standards. Every evening team leads are required to turn in their Quality Control Checklist to management.

Finally, our cleaning staff is rewarded for quality through our performance incentive program, which is based on the results of the 22 Point Quality Control Checklist and customer feedback.

100% Guarantee

All of our work is 100% guaranteed. We are so confident in our service, we guarantee it. If you are not satisfied with a certain area of your home, simply call us within 24 hours and we will re-clean the area for free. Just notify us by phone at (919) 834-8215 or e-mail us at info@maidsetc.com within 24 hours after the cleaning. We will return the next day and re-clean the area in question.

Cancellations and Rescheduling

You may cancel or reschedule your service any time; however, we do ask that you give us at least 24 hours notice, so we can adjust our schedule for the day. If 24 hours notice is not provided, a cancellation fee of $35.00 will be charged to your account and will be due on or before your next scheduled service date, or within 30 days, whichever comes first.

If we have to cancel or reschedule your service, due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances, we will do our best to give you 24 hours notice. If we fail to provide you with 24 hours notice, we will credit your account $35.00.

To ensure that all your needs are addressed, please correspond all requests and changes directly to Maids Etc.® management. Please do not communicate these important details with team members. If for some reason you wish to terminate your services, please let us know with in 48hrs prior to our visit.
 
Lockouts

If we are unable to gain entry to your home as arranged, which prevents us from performing service as scheduled, a lockout fee of $35.00 will be charged to your account and will be due on or before your next scheduled service date, or within 30 days, whichever comes first. Appointments must be canceled by noon the day prior to your scheduled cleaning to avoid this charge.
 
Security

We realize letting strangers into your home can be worrisome, and we have taken extra precautions to ensure that your home and possessions are secure when we are in your home.

Our key coding system is so secure that over 95% of our clients leave their keys with us.
 
Your key is coded as soon as it enters the office. It will be stored in a locked key storage box to which only Maids Etc.® management has access. The day of your scheduled cleaning, your key is matched to your job ticket. At the end of the day, the Team Leader returns all keys to the management who then places them back into the secured storage box.
 
Liability

We carry liability insurance to cover accidental breakage, damage or theft and will file claims with our insurance company should the need arise. Maids Etc.®  will make arrangements with you for repair, replacement, or compensation due to any breakage, damage or theft that we may be liable for while in your home.

Employees

Our employee's are very important to us, and we are serious about keeping them safe, so they do not use ladders with more than two steps or move anything heavier than 25 lbs. These types of activities put our employees at danger of back injury or could even damage your flooring. If you would like us to clean behind appliances like a fridge, oven, sofa, washer or dryer please move it prior to the cleaning to allow the team access.

Tipping

Maids Etc.®  never requires tipping, but it is a powerful way to say thank you to your cleaning team. Remember your appreciation need not be monetary.

A personal note from you expressing your appreciation for their service can mean a great deal. Maids Etc.®  will reward our team members based on our incentive program.

Payments

For your convenience, Maids Etc.®  gladly accepts the following forms of payment: cash, check or credit card (Visa, MasterCard and American Express). Customers will need to pay for their cleaning at the time of service. Envelopes will be left with the client to use in the event you forget to leave your payment on the scheduled cleaning day and can be mailed to the address listed on the envelope. There is a $30.00 fee for any check returned by your bank. If the bank is in error, they should reimburse you for this expense.

Refunds

Since cleaning is a very personalized and subjective service, we cannot offer refunds to customers. However, we want you to be 100% satisfied with Maids Etc.® Please see our 24-hour guarantee if you are dissatisfied with your cleaning.
